moderation of events

Moderation is what I really enjoy. I have moderated and organised events with the Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda, the famous space populariser Dušan Majer or the foreign reporter of the Czech Television Petr Obrovský.
I also presented the music show Velada with an audience of more than 300 people.
I can moderate in Czech and English.
I also have experience in moderating author readings with writer Tereza Kadečková or writer and comedian Pavel Tomeš.

creating videos

I can make informational videos, as well as action videos and short films in Czech and English. My report on the Czech contribution to the JUICE mission to Jupiter was the winner of the Czech Television's Reporters on the Start competition. I am currently starting to make videos for the European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO), which is directly under European Space Agency (ESA).
I mainly make videos about science, but I can do it on any subject you want.
You can find examples of my work on my YouTube channel.

building projects

I like challenges. For example, I was a member of the crew in a simulated mission to Mars. I am now a member of the organizing team where my goal is to triple the number of participants from last year.
On the Space Carrots rocket team, I make sure we have enough money and people.
In my new project, Help Grandmas Get Online, I am putting together a group of volunteers to help seniors with modern technology.
From there I have experience in PR, getting sponsors and designing projects.

Have an idea for a collaboration?

hello, I am Simon

about me

Fan of rockets, the universe and everything

I really like popularising science and working on different projects. For example, I programmed an experiment that ran on the ISS. For our analysis of an exoplanet, my team won ESA's Hack An Exoplanet challenge. Small rockets are also something I am experimenting with.

it was cool

I Flew to mars

Simulated Expedition Mars

I have been selected as a crew member for the 2022 Expedition Mars project. During this event, I and my three colleagues were locked in a spaceship simulator for 100 hours.

I liked this project so much that I am now in the organising team. I am working to ensure that we have more applicants for this mission than last year (my aim is to triple the number).

They were both very modest

Astronaut or Nobelist

Aleš Svoboda and Didier Queloz

While moderating the debate, I spoke with astronaut Aleš Svoboda for several hours straight. It was absolutely great and there was an amazing response from the audience.

It was just one question with 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics winner Didier Queloz. But in that short time he managed to completely astonish me.

i like that

Fifteen, but already accepted to university

Wealth of the Earth competition

My team won the Masaryk University's Wealth of the Earth competition. For our feasibility study of a natural gas extraction project, we received free admission to their university. I was the youngest person ever to take part in this competition.
